Meet the Founders

CEP was founded in 2022 by key members from a ~$400M AUM software growth equity firm. Our founders have been working together since 2015.

Andrew Albert

Andrew spent ~8 years at TVC Capital, an Early Growth Equity firm in San Diego focused on B2B software, helping to deploy funds III (2015; $115M) and IV (2018; $150M). As the head of research and sourcing team leader, Andrew spearheaded thesis formation and originated and executed investments. He also helped manage the portfolio through board positions and non-board involvement.

Prior to TVC, Andrew spent 15 years in the public markets in New York as a long/short buy-side investor focused on small-cap technology. He led the technology investment segment for Merus Capital Partners and previously was the third employee at Invicta Capital Management, where he was instrumental in growing the firm's assets from $30M to over $400M in less than 3 years. 

 

Andrew received a BS in Economics from The Wharton School - University of Pennsylvania with a double concentration in Finance and Management. Additionally, he achieved the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2005 and is a member of the CFA Society of San Diego.

Jensen Bryant

Jensen spent ~8 years at TVC Capital, an Early Growth Equity firm in San Diego focused on B2B software, helping to deploy funds III (2015; $115M) and IV (2018; $150M). Jensen’s primary responsibilities were thesis formation and sourcing and executing investments. He also served as the “systems and processes owner” for TVC’s sourcing technology stack and workflows, meaning he spearheaded solution (e.g. CRM) evaluation, selection, initial implementation and teamwide adoption, and ongoing refinement and correct usage enforcement. Jensen also helped manage the portfolio through board positions and non-board involvement.

 

Prior to TVC, he worked on the acquisitions team at ClubCorp in Texas, the largest owner/operator of private country clubs in the U.S. He previously worked in sales at Bay Club, a premiere active lifestyle club company in California. 

 

Jensen graduated Cum Laude from the University of San Diego with a BBA in Finance.
